Since preferential admission is given to rural children, your sponsorship will actually reach the deserving children. Since its very inception, JRPC’s focus is on the rural school dropouts, especially the girls. Majority of the drop outs from schools are the ones who fear that education is beyond their reach.
However, the cost associated with educating them – the formal education and the bridging the gap between the rural and urban children by providing additional value-added courses and maintaining the standards of technical education could be met by your generous sponsorship which could be extended to students on the basis of need cum merit. Your contribution will enhance us to provide our services at free of cost to those who cannot genuinely afford the costs associated with technical education. The sponsorship amount will be Rs.61,000/- per annum for a hostel inmate and Rs.31,000/- for a day scholar.Click here to sponsor.
List of current sponsors:
- Mrs.Vinatha Shridhar is a mathematical educationist sponsored a rural girl child’s tuition fees as she thought technical education given to a girl child will feed her for a lifetime. A mother of 2 well-educated children, she felt that JRPC is giving the right thrust to the key areas in education.
- Mr.Ganesh Babu, an automobile enthusiast opted to sponsor the tuition fees of Master. Karthikeyan, II student from the adjoining village, Sooraikudipatty. To him, the poverty-stricken family background of Karthikeyan was not the only reason behind the sponsorship, it was the attitude of the boy to continue education the very next day of his father’s demise that was very deserving.
- Mr.Subramanian, Director, ORBIT and Spastics society of India, Tiruchirappalli, commemorating his 60th Bday says he decided to sponsor a Yoga Programme for a week as he thought it would be an eye-opener to the rural children and having known the Founder as one of the dedicated teachers, he thought JRPC was the right place to make his contribution.
